Traffic degradation of Amazon Peering 1 and 2 (AS16509)

The traffic has been recovered.

We have observed a decrease in traffic on Amazon Peering 1 (38.10.0.7) and Peering 2 (38.10.0.8) compared to the typical traffic volume observed on regular days.

We have also observed multiple fiber-related issues in Bangalore, which may be contributing to the issue observed on both peers. Once the underlying issue is resolved, traffic levels are expected to normalize, and BGP sessions may be restored automatically.

We have promptly escalated the matter to the concerned team and initiated communication with them to investigate and resolve the issue.
