Traffic degradation of Amazon Peering 1[AS16509]

Traffic has been fully restored, and all services are operating normally. We have continued to monitor the Amazon Peering 1 session and have confirmed that traffic has remained stable with no further impact observed.

The issue has been resolved following the restoration of the affected infrastructure at Amazon’s end.

We have received confirmation from Amazon that the loss of connectivity on the Amazon peering session at Delhi GK location is caused by a physical facility incident affecting infrastructure at the site. As a result, the affected peering service is currently unavailable.

Amazon has advised that remediation efforts are underway and the issue is being treated as a priority. Traffic will be restored once the impacted facility infrastructure has been recovered.

At this time, Amazon has not provided an ETA. We will continue to monitor the situation and share further updates if new information becomes available.
