We have received an update from Google regarding an ongoing facility outage affecting their Delhi (DEL) metro region. The incident is related to a fire at a facility, resulting in the isolation of several network clusters and a reduction in local peering capacity.
To maintain service stability, Google has implemented traffic engineering measures to reroute ingress and egress traffic through adjacent metro locations.

We have noticed a decrease in traffic from Akamai AANP : (IPv4-45.120.248.11) (IPv6-2001:df2:1900:1::11) compared to the typical volume experienced on regular days
It is important to note that our infrastructure is functioning without any reported issues.
We have promptly escalated this matter to Akamai (AS20940) and initiated communication with them to address the situation.

Our team has been working closely with an alternative vendor who has provided a NLD transport path as a temporary solution while our primary NLD provider continues restoration work on their network infrastructure.
We are pleased to report that national services are progressively recovering, and traffic is being restored across affected regions. Our engineers continue to monitor network performance and make adjustments as required to ensure stability and optimal service delivery.
